Kansas wins its first BCS bowl EVAH!
Kansas 23, Virginia Tech 21. This is a change of pace because usually the Hokies drop games to teams that are ranked higher.
What does this mean? Easy. It's the motherfuckin' end of days as foretold by the Mayans. In five years, the world will be enveloped by darkness, blood will rain down from the skies and world will look like an 80s heavy metal album.
Once you accept the inevitability of it all, it's not so bad.

What is it with Oklahoma and BCS bowls?
Lost by 20 to West 'by God!' Virginia. Bob Stoops is beginning to remind me of Tom Osborne. Difference is that Stoops got his National Championship *real* early in his career.
On the bright side, at least they didn't have to endure the showboating of Boise State this year.
And Oklahoma had a better bowl game than Nebraska this year.

Bo Pelini Takes Over at Nebraska
That's the headline from AP. I don't know but it kinda sounds like Bo has just taken the state hostage.
If you would have told me six months ago that Bo Pelini would be coaching the '08 season, i would have told you put down the crack pipe.
